Without a key, detection runs on pattern matching: a database of ~130 known sponsor brands, promo-code formats, disclosure phrases, and vanity tracking links. That catches most deals. An Anthropic key adds a language pass that reads the description properly, which picks up smaller and one-off sponsors the database has never seen. Roughly 2–5 cents per 100 videos.
